A frustrated teenager makes a careless wish, and his little brother disappears into a strange world of forgotten dreams. Now, he must face many magical challenges and learn how important family really is before it’s too late to bring his brother back.
Alex is a high school boy who always feels like he is less important than his younger brother, Stevie. He can’t get the girl he likes and is often left out of the football team. Alex and his best friends, Abby and James, don’t fit in at school.
One day, Stevie gets a special lucky coin from a strange old man. He gives the coin to Alex and tells him to make a wish. The next day, Alex’s wish comes true in a surprising way. Stevie disappears — he even has his own TV show, and their family doesn’t recognize him anymore. Alex becomes popular, dates the most popular girl, and becomes the star of the football team.
At first, Alex loves his new life. But soon, he realizes that the good things from his old life are gone forever.
